Oil and Gas
We manufacture products for fluid loss control and rheology modification in drilling systems. When drilling a hole in the ground several thousand feet deep, special fluids known as "drilling Muds" are used to cool the drill head, suspend and remove the rock fragments and maintain pressure to prevent blowbacks which can be deadly. The special starch based products manufactured by Aquasol prevent the water in these muds from seeping into the rock face and destablizing the hole. Our products will successfully replaced or supliment PAC and CMC in many cases.
Our products have been tested and are completely safe for land application of the mud after it has served its use. We also have products that Pass Microtox for Alberta.

Textiles
We manufacture and blend a range of rheology modifiers and thickeners for the textile sizing, printing and finishing industry.
Our products are based on Starch, Guar and synthetic thickeners.
We have hand builders, dimension stablizers and film formers for the finishing industry as well as table adhesives for preventing movement of the fabric during printing.

Construction
Aquasol has developed products which at very low concentration will add significant green and wet strength to extruded bricks, blocks, tile, concrete and cement. The hydrophilic nature of the products imoblizes the water and makes the clays appear drier than they are. Amperages at the extruder are significantly reduced and even the fired absorption of some bricks can be lower. In cement and concrete the products will hold onto water and slowly release it producing a firmer body with which to work with the same amount of water.

We offer several general purpose products which can be used in a number of industries. We have a range of viscosifiers, adhesives and binders for use within a variety of applications. Binding materials for producing pelletized minerals, anti soil redeposition aids for suspending dirt particles in washing powders, absorbants for holding onto moisture and a variety of products for providing just the right flow characteristics for Coatings, Cements, etc
